If you want to buy a wireless video baby monitor, you probably know about some of the basic features that this type of monitor offers.  However, you may not be aware that the new video monitors now come with some cool features that you may want.  Here are just a few of the features you can get.

• Night vision- If you’re looking at purchasing a wireless video baby monitor, you should definitely make sure that it has night vision.  This allows you to be able to see your baby clearly, even when your baby’s room is completely dark.  Most newer video monitors have this feature, so it shouldn’t be difficult to find one with night vision. 

• Lullabies- One of the new features that many wireless video baby monitors is the ability to play lullabies on the unit in your baby’s room.  Now these are built in lullabies, so you can’t customize the music.  However, this can be a good option to soothe your child back to sleep if you don’t want to go into the room.

• Remote viewing- This is not a common feature, but occasionally you will find a wireless video baby monitor that offers you the ability to view your camera from the internet anywhere in the world.  This can be a great option if you’re not at home but want to check up on your baby.
